摘要/Abstract

摘要： 一般而言,英文摘要质量与刊物影响因子之间具有密切的关系。但是,目前比较缺乏判定中文期刊中英文摘要质量的标准可循。为此,研究以影响因子较高的国际英文学术期刊摘要为参照,分析研究这一语类中长度分布、名物化、语法隐喻等技术指标,以及这些技术指标的运作机制和组篇功能。研究结果为中文学术期刊英文摘要写作和翻译提供可循标准,解决中文学术论文中英文摘要写作和翻译水平参差不齐的问题。

Abstract: Generally speaking, the quality of English abstract is closely related to the influence factor of the journals. However, in Chinese journals, there is no objective criterion to evaluate the quality of the English abstracts and the quality of the English abstracts cannot satisfy the requirement of journals of quality. This paper aims to investigate the distinctive generic features, technical indices - length distribution, nominalization, and grammatical metaphor of the abstract in English journals - and the operating rules for the technical indices and their textual function. The results can serve as criteria for the evaluation of the English abstracts and play their modeling value in the writing of English abstracts or the translation of Chinese abstracts into English, thus to improve their quality.
