Abstract: Public libraries provide vital power for rural revitalization, reflecting both the institutional framework of national strategies for comprehensive rural revitalization and the practical needs of rural communities. In the new era, public libraries play a pivotal role in providing intellectual support for rural revitalization programs by enhancing the villagers' digital literacy and guiding the development of rural culture. To effectively empower rural revitalization, public libraries should: 1) precisely align services with local needs while emphasizing their unique capacity for cultural and spiritual enrichment; and 2) continuously expand information resources to strengthen their knowledge provision capabilities.
