Abstract: The historical experience of party building and governance of the Communist Party of China (CPC) shows that strengthening the construction of laws and regulations within the party is an important institutional guarantee for promoting the new great project of party building. From a logical perspective, it is not only a practical demand to adhere to and strengthen the comprehensive leadership of the Party in the new era, not only a historical necessity to continuously promote comprehensive and strict governance of the Party, but also a strategic need to focus on enhancing the long-term governance capacity of the Party. From the perspective of functional interpretation, it is not only a milestone in measuring the level of the Party's movement, not only a coordinate system to manifest the principle of “centering around the people”, but also a vanguard to demonstrate the Party's exemplary role model. From the perspective of practical path, we should not only adhere to the political, targeted and effective characteristics of Party building, not only uphold the scientific, standardized, and institutionalized system of Party building, but also integrate it into all aspects, directions, and processes of Party building.
