Abstract: A novel based on the historical story of the National Unity Oath Monument in Pu'er, Killing the Bull to Erect the Monument demonstrates robust cultural radiating force and national vitality. With clever writing skills to dynamically present the national spirit connotation embodied by the National Unity Oath Monument, the novel is the double presentation of historical facts and reality writing, the incarnation and inheritance of the national spirit based on the physical existence of the National Unity Oath Monument in Pu'er, and the vivid literary interpretation of the Chinese national community from the literary perspective.
