Abstract: Lahu characteristic villages in Yunnan have unique natural and cultural landscapes and rich tourism resources. Cultural tourism is an important means of poverty alleviation and rural revitalization for Lahu villages in Yunnan Province. Taking Laodabao Village, Lancang Lahu Autonomous County as an example, this paper first analyzes the internal contradictions existing between the process of cultural inheritance and tourism development of Lahu characteristic villages, such as cultural localization and modernity, authenticity and commercialization, elite capture and average empowerment, economic development and cultural protection, then proceeds to put forward strategies to resolve relevant contradictions and promote the coordinated development from strengthening the government's macro guidance, paying equal attention to inheritance and innovation, paying attention to the empowerment of the people, pursuing economic and cultural win-win result and other aspects.
