Abstract: Through real cases of widowed elderlies, this paper tries to use the case work mode of professional social work intervention to help the widowed elderly to re-establish self-improvement and adopt positive attitudes towards life by beating difficulties they face. At the same time, the construction of a set of relatively standardized, complete and effective social work service modes for the widowed elderly can benefit the vast number of social workers by providing some guiding reference. Focusing on assessment of major elderly problems, the authors elaborate on service plan construction, implementation and expansion.
