Abstract: Deng Xiaoping Thought on Party Building in the New Period is an organic part of Deng Xiaoping Theory and an important component of the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics, which points out the direction for us to strengthen Party Building and promote socialist modernization under the situation of reform and opening-up. Clarifying the formation, development, basic content, outstanding features and significance of Deng Xiaoping Thought on Party Building in the New Period is of far-reaching significance for further inheriting and passing down the fine tradition of Party Building, summarizing and learning from the historical experience and objective laws of Party Building, further pushing forward the new great project of Party Building under the conditions of the New Era, continuing to lead the great social revolution with self-revolution, and continuously advancing the great cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
