Abstract: In the New Era, it is of great practical significance to do a good job on the evaluation of the students' physical health to promote the development of their physical health. According to the students' physical development, skill acceptance and physical and mental characteristics, FMS and the students' physical health test are selected to test the correlation between these indexes to establish a scientific evaluation of the students' physical health indicators system, so as to improve the evaluation standards of the students' physical health. In this study, 150 junior middle school students were randomly selected from thirty-one middle schools in Zhengzhou, and the results of functional movement screening test were analyzed statistically. The results showed that the students' sprint, forward bend, sit-up, pull-up and active leg raising, trunk stability push-up and body rotation stability in physical fitness test were correlated due to the similarity of movement patterns and muscle groups. FMS test and physical health test of 800m and 1000m showed no significant correlation. Although there were Partial correlation, the two kinds of tests reflected the students' different abilities, and it is suggested that the relevant departments may consider to add some actions and indexes to examine the quality of movement and the posture of the students in the future physical health tests.
