Abstract: The spirit of the Communist Party of China (CPC) reflects the common spiritual outlook of the Party members and ordinary people obtained through social practice. It has gone through a long process of birth, development, maturity and expansion and, at all stages, has been leading the communists to accomplish all the important missions. An analysis of its inherent cause of formation reveals that the consistent spiritual core determines its soul coordinates, the commitment that survives time is its theme and the profound practice forms its deep soil. In front of the historical responsibility of building a modern socialist country in an all round way and achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, the CPC should, in a profound manner and from the height of accomplishing the great national rejuvenation, realize the extreme importance of the spirit of the CPC and, centering around the new mission in the New Era and departing from new practice in the New Era, innovate and develop the spirit of the CPC.
