Abstract: Over the past century, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, great achievements have been achieved and valuable experience gained in ending China’s history of semi-colonial and semi-feudal society and realizing the great transformation of the Chinese people from standing up to becoming rich and then to growing strong. It is of far-reaching significance to integrate the Party's major achievements and historical experience over the past century into the teaching of ideological and political theory course. Digging deeply the value connotation contained therein and exploring actively the multi-dimensional path of integration contribute to guiding the young generation to deeply understand why the Communist Party of China has succeeded, why Marxism has worked in China and why socialism with Chinese characteristics is good in the past century, thus strengthening the pertinence and effectiveness of the teaching of ideological and political theory course.
