Abstract: Ethnic groups “directly entering the socialist society” is a special group whose life is a direct transition from the late primitive society to the socialist one. It is an important subject related to social equality and development in areas inhabited by minority ethnic groups. Their female education concerns not only children's growth and family harmony, but also national and social development. From the perspective of gender, this paper applies the theory of “cultural distance” to the education of “straight national” women and uses the theory of “cultural lag” to analyze educational problems regarding “the ethnic groups directly entering the socialist society.”

Key words: “the ethnic group directly entering socialism”, female education, gender, “cultural lag”
