Abstract: Quality supervision has become an important tool to learn the current situation, analyze and identify the existing problems, and explore ways to enhance quality of China’s compulsory education. This paper, taking quality supervision of compulsory education of M Province, identifies the following problems facing compulsory education of M Province: insufficient funding; poor education quality; inadequate quality of teachers; imperfect education quality guarantee mechanism, etc. Departing from reality of compulsory education of M Province, the authors suggest the following four countermeasures to enhance quality of compulsory education: 1) improving the funding guarantee mechanism for better compulsory education conditions; 2) emphasizing construction of teaching faculty; 3) implementing concrete tasks; and 4) improving compulsory education quality supervision mechanism.
