Abstract: The use of running APPs to carry out campus running has become a common phenomenon in colleges and universities, and the impact of using running APPs for campus running on college students' body composition is discussed so as to objectively reflect the exercise value of campus running. The experimental method was used to divide 162 college students into the control group and the experimental group, conduct a 13-week campus running clock-in, and collect body composition data before and after the experiment for comparative analysis. The results showed that after 13 weeks, the body fat mass of the control group and the experimental group increased (P<0.05), the BMI value of the control group increased (P<0.05), the difference between BMI intermediate difference, weight regulation, body fat mass, body fat regulation, muscle mass and muscle regulation value were not statistically significant (P>0.05), the median difference of BMI and weight adjustment value of boys in the experimental group decreased (P<0.05), and the BMI value, body fat mass and body fat adjustment value were not statistically significant. There was no significant difference in the before and after muscle adjustment values (P>0.05), there were no significant differences in body composition indexes in the control group (P>0.05), the median difference in BMI and weight adjustment values in the experimental group decreased (P<0.05), and the differences in BMI value, body fat mass, body fat regulation value, muscle mass and muscle regulation value were not statistically significant (P>0.05). It can be concluded that the use of running APPs for school running can effectively regulate BMI and body weight, making BMI and weight closer to standard BMI and standard weight.
