A Case Analysis of Minority Village Traditional Sports and Cultural Development- A Case Study of Zixi Yi Village, Chuxiong

Abstract: In recent years, minority village sport has been playing a connecting role in sightseeing and other agricultural and recreational activities, giving birth to various development modes and business categories in rural tourism. Among them minority sports with cultural connotation stand out to represent minority ethnic culture to some extent. As a result, it has become a common sense that minority villages be protected and identification with their own ethnic groups be recognized. How to promote development in this respect, however, is an issue of some challenge. To ensure sustainable development of minority villages, it is, therefore, imperative that vitality of excellent traditional minority village sports be emphasized and reinforced.
