Abstract: The disposition style of Wanbi Dai language is an active sentence marked with “ja¹ˊ ba”, which indicates that the actor has a positive influence on the recipient. Compared with other dialects and native dialects of the Dai language, its disposition mark“ja¹”has a relatively high degree of grammaticalization and forms an opposite and complementary relation with the tool case mark ʔau¹ˊ, showing similar characteristics to the Dongshui branch; the disposal object and disposal mark grammaticalization are low in semantic compulsory matching.
