An Analysis of Need for Burmese Migrant Workers in Learning Chinese: the Case of Ruili, Yunnan Province

摘要: 外籍务工者汉语学习的需求分析目的在于服务教学。以初级水平的缅籍务工汉语学习者为研究对象,通过调查问卷、观察、访谈等方式,调查分析云南瑞丽缅籍务工者的基本情况和汉语需求情况,包括目标需求和学习需求,并从课程目标、教学内容、教学方式、教师、教学语言、课外学习和活动6个方面提出教学建议,顺应了构建中缅命运共同体的时代需求。

Abstract: The purpose of need analysis of migrant workers to learn Chinese is to serve teaching. This paper takes elementary-level Burmese migrant Chinese learners as the research object and, through questionnaires, observation, interviews and other methods, investigates and analyzes the basic situation and Chinese needs of Burmese migrant workers in Ruili, Yunnan Province, including target needs and learning needs. Teaching suggestions are then made from six aspects-curriculum objectives, teaching content, teaching methods, teachers, teaching language, extracurricular learning and activities-to answer to the call of the time of building a China-Myanmar community of shared future.
