Analysis of Leaf Pigment Content and Photosynthetic Characteristics of Five Grape Varieties

Abstract: In our study,the photosynthesis characteristics (photosynthetic rate,transpiration rate,stomatal conductance and intercellular CO2 concentration) and leaf pigment (chlorophyll and anthocyanin) content of five grape varieties were analyzed.The leaf pigment was extracted by extraction method and then combined.The leaf pigment content was determined by UV-5500-ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometer,and the photosynthetic characteristics were measured using an LI-6400XT photosynthetic apparatus.SPSS16.0 software was used to analyze the correlation,photosynthetic characteristics and photosynthesis rate of each grape variety studied.The results showed that the photosynthesis rate was positively correlated with the intercellular CO2 concentration,and the stomatal conductance was significantly positively correlated with the photosynthetic rate and intercellular CO2 concentration.The photosynthetic rate was positively correlated with the total amount of chlorophyll but not significant.Xiahei and Sunshine Rose have higher net photosynthetic rate,stomatal conductance and chlorophyll content,and are among the five varieties suitable for local planting in Chuxiong.
