Abstract: This paper studies the reading situation of national classical literary works from the angle of network communication. Aiming at drawing greater attention to literary, ideological significance and social values of classical works and departing from the close connection between literature and communication media, the background of micro-reading, the contemporary reality and both acceptance and recognition of the readers, it explores the changes of the readers' reading style and behavior regarding the traditional book Mamutei in the context of micro-reading using the Yi classic Mamutei as an example, so as to explore the psychological changes of the readers' reading attitude and aesthetic cognition of traditional works in the era of micro-reading.
