Abstract: As a frontier region inhabited by many minority ethnic groups, it is an objective need for Yunnan to promote the popularization of Marxism in practice and summarize the special experience of doing so. Moreover, it is also an inevitable requirement for the promotion and development of philosophy and social sciences in Yunnan. This is of theoretical and practical significance in consolidating the dominant position of Marxist ideology in the frontier ethnic areas of Yunnan, correctly understanding and grasping Yunnan's status and role in the overall development of the whole country, and implementing the spirit of the two inspections of Yunnan by the General Secretary of the Party.
