Abstract: In the new era, art creation with the theme of red revolution can promote the revolutionary spirit in awakening the national memory, highlight the theme of the times in passing down the fire, and practice aesthetic education in the spiritual edification, so we should pay attention to the innovation of its creative mode. However, at the current stage, problems such as insufficient creative leadership, single language style and content selection, insufficient innovation ability and relatively inflexible creative means still exist in theme art creation. To solves these problems, art creators should make concert efforts to explore the correct direction of creative mode innovation on the basis of attaching importance to value guidance and, taking diversified modes as the guide, pay attention to the diversified development of creative language styles and content choices, establish a new perspective in the organic integration of the small and the big, and innovate in an all-round way the art creation mode with the theme of the red revolution in combination with the appropriate use of information technology at the same time.
