Abstract: Mu Dan once joined the “Hunan, Guizhou and Yunnan Walking Group” of National Southwest Associated University (NSAU) and moved from Hunan Province to Yunnan Province. His poems not only record the long journey, but also show the travel experience gained during the journey. These travel experiences include not only the experience of natural scenery and customs of southwest China, but also the experience of different travel modes-walking, boating, and short-term settled living. At the same time, this long trip had a great impact on his poems.
