Abstract: The inclusion of “maintaining a global vision” as valuable historical experience in the Resolution of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on the Major Achievements and Historical Experience of the Party over the Past Century adopted at the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) has ignited heated academic study. Scholars approach the idea “maintaining a global vision” from a variety of dimensions-its generation logic, its basic content, its value connotation and its implementation path, to name a few-and have achieved abound results. To further deepen research on this theme, it is necessary to deepen academic and theoretic research, improve the current research paradigms, break disciplinary limitations, and expand research vision, so as to elevate research of this notion to high-quality development to eventually contribute to construction of the China discourse system.
