    Abstract ( 38 )   PDF (1573KB) ( 23 )
By absorbing, inheriting and drawing on the scientific and technological ethics of Marx, Engels, Chinese communists and fine traditional Chinese culture in facing and responding to the ethical challenges brought about by the rapid development of science and technology, Xi Jinping has formed his own scientific and technological ethics that includes adhering to the people-centered scientific and technological value orientation, following the basic principles of technological ethics, establishing patriotism, and promoting harmonious coexistence between man and nature by promoting green technological innovation. It not only enriches and develops Marxist ethics of science and technology, making it a prominent science, but also provides action guidance and China’s plan for promoting sustainable and healthy development of science and technology in the new era, and provides the right value orientation for science and technology to benefit the people of China and the world.

The Four-fold Internal Logic of View of Ecological Justice of the Communist Party of China
    ZHANG Debao, LI Jin
    2023, 38(6):  9-17.
    Abstract ( 15 )   PDF (1576KB) ( 10 )
Different from environmental justice, ecological justice is, in essence, the justice of production relations between people based on ecological environment. The ecological justice of the Communist Party of China (CPC) is the all-round ecological justice, including urban and rural (regional), intergenerational and international ecological justice. The concept of ecological justice of the CPC reflects 1) the historical development of ecological construction and green transformation, that is, the combination of the historical task of the Party and the ecological service object; 2) the double “reconciliation” of economic development and ecological crisis, that is, the integration of economic development and ecological development; 3) the dynamic balance of labor value and capital value, that is, the realization of labor value and the sustainable combination of environmental resources; and 4) the organic unity of social justice and ecological justice, that is, the combination of fairness and justice and the construction of a good ecological environment.

Research on Building of the Capacity for National Identification Governance in the Frontier Regions in the New Era
    LIU Hualin, YANG Ruizhe
    2023, 38(6):  18-24.
    Abstract ( 17 )   PDF (1595KB) ( 9 )
Higher national identification in the frontier regions is conducive to ethnic solidarity, social stability and regional development. However, relatively lagging economic development in these regions, geographical and cultural differences between the frontier and heartland regions, and severe international challenges bring about problems concerning national identification, which not only hinder the governance modernization process of frontier regions, but also undermine national security and frontier stability. Therefore, it is imperative to focus on the overall strategy of national development. This involves strengthening ties through culture, history, law, interests, and honor, and continually enhancing governance capability. Additionally, there is a need to continuously improve governance capability of national identification by strengthening supply capability of mainstream ideology, effectiveness of governance performance, and supply capability of orderliness of governance procedure.

On the Institutional Innovation of Corruption Governance in the New Era: Lifetime Accountability System
    LI Shen, CHENG Junnian
    2023, 38(6):  25-31.
    Abstract ( 10 )   PDF (1590KB) ( 14 )
The lifelong accountability system is an important institutional innovation in the fight against corruption that can play an effective role in practice in corruption prevention of leading officials. This system, however, is open to further discussion as new issues and challenges keep surfacing in its application. The lifelong accountability system deepens zero-tolerance anti-corruption from the temporal and spatial dimensions, utilizes the unity of lifelong accountability to eliminate the heterogeneity of the system environment, solves the problems of untimeliness of public supervision and unequal status of both parties, and reflects the core values of lifelong supervision in curbing power corruption, restraining human weaknesses, and ensuring social fairness. In the path of institutional improvement, the regulatory function of the lifelong accountability system can be improved in practice by clarifying the applicable forms of responsibility for lifelong accountability, improving the procedural settings for lifelong accountability, and strengthening the government’s credibility in lifelong accountability.

    ZHOU Chijin
    2023, 38(6):  32-36.
    Abstract ( 10 )   PDF (1552KB) ( 2 )
Since the May Fourth Movement in 1919, the image of workers has gradually transformed from the object of sympathy in the early labor literature to the image of rebels conscious of class identification in the left-wing literature. After the founding of the People's Republic in 1949, the need to build an industrialized modern country in terms of economy highlighted the significance of workers. The sense of the workers “rising to the leading position” in the new society is a concrete embodiment of their national identification. Meanwhile their image also shifted from rebels to masters of the country.

A Study of Multiple Metaphors in Lao She’s Camel Xiangzi
    ZHAO Lu
    2023, 38(6):  37-43.
    Abstract ( 31 )   PDF (1635KB) ( 10 )
In his Camel Xiangzi, an important work about the struggles and tragedies of the underclass urban civilians in modern society, Lao She portrays characters and narrative scenes, taking advantage of a large number of metaphorical symbols and constructed complex metaphorical meanings to suggest the erotic relationship between characters and the hierarchical order under the influence of social ethics through his writing of eating and drinking scenes and behaviors, as well as the individuals’ torn perception of self-identity, hidden desires, needs and moral degradation through his writing of their illness or pathological behaviors. While making portrayal of characters multi-dimensional, the metaphorical props of the novelist reveals the tragedy caused by the characters’ psychological contradictions and desire entanglements and conveys his sympathy for the degradation of individual lives and wills under the multiple constraints of the dark society and traditional ethics.

Space, Perspective, Gender-Deviation on Narration in Jia Pingwa’s Broken Wings
    DENG Qun, GUO Yong
    2023, 38(6):  51-58.
    Abstract ( 8 )   PDF (1674KB) ( 2 )
The deviation on narration in terms of space, perspective and gender of Jia Pingwa’s Broken Wings lies in the fact that the novelist originally intends to speak out for a kidnapped woman but instead shows emotional bias towards rural areas without truly depicting the physical, emotional and psychological grief of a tragedy-stricken Hu Die the heroine. This deviation is a result of the split of the novelist’s first-person narration, which relates the misery from the perspective of Hu Die while depicting gently the hard life and beautiful ethics in the village. Cold depiction of violence and warm narration of rural life form the two touches of the same pen. Thus in front of this shift of perspective and change of attitude, direct depiction of Hu Die’s tragic life becomes evasive as emotional ethics dissolves violence while erotic love shrouds suppression of women by men, making the novel complicated and multi-dimensional.

An Empirical Study on the Influence of Leadership Characteristics on Organizational Performance- Taking the COVID-19 Pandemic as Example
LIAO Yongshi, QU Wanhong, HUANG Tianhui
    2023, 38(6):  69-77.
    Abstract ( 21 )   PDF (1746KB) ( 12 )
“Expert or not” is a controversial issue in the selection of leading officials at the moment. To explore the influence of the leadership characteristics of the Municipal Health Commission on the efficiency of epidemic prevention in the period of regular epidemic control actions, a Generalized Linear regression model was established to empirically test the 269 prefectures with COVID-19 outbreaks from November 11 to December 7, 2022. The study finds that current leading officials face the reality of “layman” leadership “deviation” to a certain extent, but leaders both with and without prominent “expert” characteristics need to enhance their comprehensive capacity for coping with specific situations and learn to master expertise in their competent fields to become expert leaders, “scholar leaders” or “specialized managers.” At the same time, the study finds that under the current political system, the expert characteristics and performance characteristics of team members can compensate the limited capacity of the “chief leaders” of making rational decisions to a certain extent, so there is no need to overemphasize the importance of the expert characteristics and performance characteristics of the “chief leaders.”

Research of Social Worker Intervention in Improving Horizontal Communication Ability of Visually Impaired Teenagers- Based on PAC theory
    DENG Taoying, YU Chenghai
    2023, 38(6):  78-84.
    Abstract ( 18 )   PDF (1680KB) ( 9 )
According to PAC theory, the problems in the horizontal communication ability of visually impaired teenagers are mainly reflected in problems in non-parallel communication, cross-communication and hidden communication. The lack of horizontal communication ability of visually impaired teenagers is mainly due to the absence of A state in self-state orientation, lack of recognition and cognitive disorder in communication, and the rigidity and degeneration of the central structure of self-state transformation. According to PAC theory, to improve the horizontal communication ability of visually impaired teenagers, social workers can start from the following aspects: psychological empowerment based on A-A communication mode, training and situational simulation based on PAC theory, and practical reconstruction based on PAC theory.

From “Dis-embedding” to “Re-embedding”: A Study on the Factors Influencing Social Integration of the Old Drifting Tribe
    ZHAO Yanjia, YANG Jinghui
    2023, 38(6):  85-94.
    Abstract ( 11 )   PDF (1736KB) ( 4 )
Due to transformation of the social structure, in the process of the old drifting tribe “dis-embedding” from home to “re-embedding” into the destination, social integration of the drifting people is influenced by many factors. Based on the dynamic monitoring and survey data of the national migrant population sanitation plan in 2017 and using a multi-linear regression model to analyze the influencing factors of social integration during the “re-embedding” process of the old drifting tribe, this article analyzes the dilemma of their integration before making relevant suggestions. The results show that the cause of migration significantly affects social integration. The elderly drifting to look after children feel less integrated socially than those drifting to live out their old lives. Other notable influencing factors include hukou, education, hygiene habits, migration time, and migrating distance. In terms of family factors, family size negatively affects social integration. Of social factors, health files, medical insurance, and social participation are the influencing ones. Based on these findings, the paper proposes self-integration, family comfort as well as political and social collaboration as solutions.

He even set up an editorial office later within the school and ordered the compilation of Quan Dian Ji Yao, or A Survey of Yunnan Province. However, due to corruption, the school failed to play its role before being eventually replaced by the politics and law academy.

Transmission of the Central Plains Music along the Silk Road from a Cross-cultural Perspective
    LIN Xuelian
    2023, 38(6):  104-111.
    Abstract ( 7 )   PDF (1585KB) ( 10 )
Mostly two-way, cross-cultural communication refers to the interaction between different cultural groups. While the music of the Central Plains, or the central heartland China as traditionally referred to as, spread westward, that of Central Asia spread eastward all the time. In this process, the music of the Central Plains was subject to continuous “influence and transformation” as a result of its choosing to accept exterior influence. The Hexi Corridor, a long passage in the mountains west of the Yellow River linking the Central Plains to the northwest of China and an important part of the Silk Road, is a convergence hub where multiple ethnic groups and their cultures meet. Taking Dunhuang Ci as the subject of research, the paper analyses its characteristics, compares the tune from the Central Plains and that circulating in the Central Plains, discusses the impact and shock on the music of Central Plains on its journey westward, and explores the cultural psychology of the music of the Central Plains to accept such influence and transformation so as to find out the two-way interaction of sino-Hu cultural exchange and the north-south and east-west multi-directional paths of the Silk Road.

Research on the Essence, Mechanism, and Generation Path of Martial Arts: Ideological and Political Education from the Perspective of Confucian Body View
    CHENG Ying, ZHU Xiangming
    2023, 38(6):  128-134.
    Abstract ( 10 )   PDF (1569KB) ( 4 )
Using literature review, logical analysis and other research methods, based on the inherent logic of “physical and mental cultivation” and “etiquette practice” in the Confucian body view, this article analyzes the essence, mechanism of effectiveness, and generation path of integrating ideological and political education in current martial arts course. The research suggests that the essence of ideological and political education in martial arts is to cultivate the students’ moral and artistic qualities as well as their ability to engage in both moral and artistic activities. The mechanism of ideological and political education in martial arts lies in the awakening of the body and sensibility, the entanglement of symbols between “body” and “knowledge,” and the emotional effect of moral emotion and traditional martial arts ethics in martial arts teaching. The generative paths include 1) immersing oneself in martial arts to emphasize the presence of the body in ideological and political education in martial arts; 2) cultivating martial arts appropriately to strengthen the integration of symbol body training and skill body in martial arts education; and 3) establishing a goal value system of embodying morality to perform both moral and artistic skills through personal experience.
