Abstract: Red music culture is an indispensable spiritual force to enhance the effectiveness of ideological and political education of college students. Using it to empower ideological and political education of college students is a theoretical and practical problem that needs to be solved in practicing the Party's education policy and comprehensively promoting the “five-education integration” strategy. Taking red music as the starting point and taking into consideration the actual situation of ideological and political education of college students, this paper explores the effectiveness and path of using red music culture to empower college students' ideological and political education, and provides new ideas and inspiration for improving its effect.
