Abstract: The second combination is an important method and content of Xi Jinping Thought on Culture, which is the key to understanding Xi Jinping Thought on Culture to keep the internal rational path of innovation. Starting from the “second combination”, Xi Jinping Thought on Culture regarding keeping the internal rational path of innovation is based on the historical context and is reflected in the three dimensions of adapting to historical circumstances, adhering to the responsibility of the times, and fulfilling mission responsibilities. It is precisely to meet the need of theoretical consciousness to promote the modernization of Marxism in China, the need to consolidate national security and build an ideological defense line, and the need to expand the path of Chinese modernization with cultural self-confidence and self-improvement that Xi Jinping Thought on Culture seeks to innovate while keeping the internal rational path.
