Implementation Mechanism and Construction Path of a High-quality Teacher Education System in the Context of China's Education Modernization

Abstract: The key task of China's education modernization is to provide sustainable high-level human capital for the construction of Chinese modernization, a goal unachievable without a high-quality teacher education system. Based on the theory of Chinese modernization and supply-side theory, this study first employs an exploratory case analysis to reveal the connotation of a high-quality teacher education system, then proposes promoting its development through directional guidance and connotation building. Furthermore, by analyzing the development of different types of teacher education, the study proposes the mechanism from system construction to system operation before proceeding to examine the paths and implications of building a high-quality teacher education system for advancing Chinese education modernization.
