Abstract: General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important discourse on “Economy-Culture-People” is an important part of Xi Jinping’s Economic Thought and an important theoretical guideline for high-quality economic development that demonstrates the holistic view of systematic thinking. Firstly, this discourse presents an innovative explorations on the systematization structure of “Economy-Culture-People” through the constituent elements of the system to achieve integrated development and bidirectional connection between economy and humanities. Secondly, from the basis of Marx’s thought on the organic social economy, it interprets the operational logic of “Economy-Culture-People” to realize the gradual deepening from “external phenomena” to “internal essence,” the paradigm shift from “material logic” to “humanistic logic,” and the systematic advancement from “single narrative” to “multiple narratives.” Thirdly, by adopting the “specific overall” approach, it comprehensively explores the development and evolution of “Economy-Culture-People” to construct a dialectical mutual transformation development model of “people-oriented leadership-cultural empowerment-economic symbiosis” and promote the systematic construction of the autonomous knowledge system of humanistic economics. This important discourse, therefore, has endowed humanistic economics with new contemporary connotations, making significant original contributions to enriching and developing humanistic economics.
