Abstract: According to the honeycomb structure of volcanic rocks, lauric acid (LA)-volcanic rocks (VR) shape-stabilized phase change materials were prepared using vacuum heating melt adsorption method. The thermal physical parameters, leakage, thermal stability and thermal storage characteristics of the phase change materials were characterized and analyzed by comprehensive thermal analysis, diffusion exudation circle method and step cooling experiment. The results show that PCM has good structural stability when the mass fraction of volcanic rock is between 45% and 55%. When the mass fraction of volcanic rock is 50%, the time of first cycle exudation of PCM is more than 20 times longer than that of pure La. However, with the increase of the specific gravity of volcanic rocks, the enthalpy will decrease.
