Abstract

Abstract: Impact of development of rural tourism on the local environment and the residents' lives have been a controversial issue. Based on relevant literatures, the paper obtained relevant data through questionnaire survey in a Dong village in Chengyang, and explored the path relationship between rural tourism development, comprehensive environment change and local residents' life perception with the help of SEM. After data fitting, the model is basically adapted. The results show that there is a significant positive correlation between "rural tourism development" and "comprehensive environment". On the one hand, "rural tourism development" and "comprehensive environment" directly affect the happiness of the local residents and, on the other hand, indirectly affect their happiness by influencing their life satisfaction.
