An Analysis of Physical Health Status of the Students of Chuxiong Normal University- Taking Data of the 2019 Physical Fitness Test as an Example

Abstract

Abstract: By using the methods of literature review, mathematical statistics and interview, this paper analyzes the physical health test data of 8,146 non-P.E. majors of Chuxiong Normal University in 2019. The results show that the physical fitness of the students of Chuxiong Normal University is far from optimistic, with more than 80% of the students below desirable standards, especially the female ones. Suggestions are put forward based on aforesaid results to provide theoretical basis for school physical education and physical education curriculum reform.
