Abstract: Known as the first year of Internet finance in China, 2013 was also a milestone year for the development of third-party payment business. With the quarterly data of 16 listed commercial banks from 2013 to 2019 as the sample interval, this paper establishes a panel regression model between variables to analyze the relationship between relevant variables. Through empirical analysis, it is found that the scale of third-party payment has a negative correlation with the performance of listed commercial banks. The increase in GDP contributes to improve the performance of commercial banks, while the non-interest income ratio has a negative correlation with the performance of listed commercial banks. On this basis, the article throws out policy suggestions to boost the performance of commercial banks in terms of their business transformation and improvement of informationalized level.
