Study on Blended Teaching Method Based on Professional Certification-Taking MapGIS and Mapping Course of Gansu Agricultural University as Example

Abstract: MapGIS and Mapping is a characteristic course of GIS specialty in our school with strong practicality, which involves a wide range of knowledge, complex content, and has strong theoretical and practical nature. After years' practice, rich experience has been gained. On the basis of clarifying the course of MapGIS and Mapping, combining the concept of professional certification and the advantages of our school's network teaching platform and flipped classroom, this paper makes some exploration of its practical teaching work. The results show that the new teaching mode reform scheme can significantly improve the teaching quality, and can provide reference for the reform and innovation of practical teaching to other colleges and universities.
