Out-door autonomous game is an important part of kindergarten activities that can give the children more freedom in games, stimulate their interest, encourage their initiative, develop their concentration quality, cultivate their game ethics and, eventually, help them grow up healthy physically and mentally. To organize out-door autonomous games, appropriate environment, space and time are needed in addition to choice of age-sensitive materials, provision of game guidance and availability of diversified game modes. Organizing out-door autonomous games can produce multiple benefits: giving the children the chance to fully enjoy autonomous games, meeting their various development requirements, and developing a number of positive qualities in the children, such as initiative, confidence, optimism, bravery, challenge-readiness, eagerness to explore, team cooperation, aptness at discovery, love to think and other good habits and positive behavior. In short, out-door autonomous games function to lay a solid foundation for the future learning of the children.
